Wedding DJ Checklist
Music is one of the most important ingredients to a successful wedding reception. No two weddings are the same and the music requirement for every one is different. That is why it is important to choose someone with a vast music database and the knowledge to use it effectively during the different phases of the reception. The playlist is never the same twice. I do not use a stock playlist or set up a dinner music CD and walk away. I will talk with you and deliver the music presentation you desire for your wedding. Every type of music is available and nearly any song you can think of too! We can even set aside a list of songs you DO NOT want to hear. This event is your event and should have the music you want played.

Here are a couple of online tools for you to use to plan your wedding reception. (You can use these same tools for other events as well.) First is the OBX DJ Event Planner. This will allow you to specify the important details of your event. Click here to open the planner.

Now you can start your music list by using the OBX DJ Music Database Search Tool Below. There are over 70,000 songs in the database but if one or two isn't listed I can probably find them.

Below is a Wedding DJ Checklist. It is similar to the OBX DJ Event Planner. These are the things to coordinate with the DJ ahead of time to make sure the event goes as planned and your happiest celebration ends on a high note. While I recommend the use of a professional wedding planner you can use this along with the tools above to make planning your wedding reception much easier!
